Utah All-State selection as a Senior. All-region and Defensive Lineman MVP as a Junior and Senior. Lettered in football and track. Recruited by UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Iowa State, Utah.

Has started 3 of 4 years and will share starting position at nose tackle again in 2003. All-Mountain West Conference honorable-mention honors 2002. Tallied 41 tackles, 16 solo, 2 sacks, 2 hurries. Phil Steel's College Football Preview first-team All-MWC preseason selection 2002.

His brother Falemao, played football at BYU in 1987. Served a Church mission to Riverside, California, married Jenny Patterson and they have 2 daughters. Will be attending graduate school during 2003. [LDS]
