Lettered in football, Basketball and track. Recruited by Washington, Oregon, Washington State, Oregon State, California, Missouri, UNLV.

Changed from Linebacker to Defensive End for his Senior year. Will share time at DE in 2003. Lettered in 2002 with 34 tackles, 15 solo, 1 interception, 2 hurries , 4 pass break-ups during the season. Mountain West Conference All-Academic selection 2001 and 2002.
