| One of the more polished tight ends to come out of the West in some time, Holt has soft hands and runs nice, crisp routes. Has great size and is a great blocker, being used in a running offense. Speed is only thing that really needs improving, but is an effective runner in the open field. |
| Biography: |
| Could end up as the best tight end in the West in the class of 2008. At the L.A. Scout Combine, Holt was selected to the all-combine First Team, over several other top tight ends in the class ahead. Had a strong showing at the U.S. Army All-American Combine in San Antonio this past January.
Final senior (11-2) stats: 30 catches for 500 yards and six touchdowns.
Holt reports a 3.9 core GPA and a 21 ACT.
Holt: "I can catch and block pretty well. I blocked a lot this season and I'm good in the slot too. I'm very versatile and catch the ball well in open space."
