As his team is set to begin the state playoffs as the top seed, he’s going to have to juggle official trips on virtually every weekend until he transfers midyear and joins a Division I program this coming January. Head coach Bronco Mendenhall informed the media that the Cougar coaching staff will try and bring in a midyear transfer from the junior college ranks to shore up the defensive backfield for next season. In the past few weeks I’ve seen some great games, but for sheer drama and emotion, the Skyline/Bothell game held Thursday night at Pop Keeney Stadium was about as good as it gets.
