Pendleton's Experience a Helpful Asset

It's been a year since Pendleton made the switch from safety to outside linebacker. He excelled at his new role this past season, and is now the most experienced player at that position. Thus, he has taken on a leadership role over spring camp despite being sidelined while recovering from recent surgery.

The linebacker corps looks a lot different this year. But when all the pieces are put into place, and with a little seasoning, it has the potential to become a strength within the defense. Early spring camp has seen some new faces such as twins Ridge and Riley Nelsen, Seth Johnson, Jake Applegarth, Matthew Relei, Matt Santos, Connell Hess, Tom Steele and Tony Pawlak.
