Lineman on the Mend

Lineman on the Mend

Jason Speredon was a highly recruited lineman out of Granger High School in Utah. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder posted the best NIKE camp marks of any offensive linemen for the 2003 recruiting class. Now he is a true freshman at BYU recovering from off-season surgery.

Following a two-year LDS mission, Jason Speredon returned to BYU where he quickly turned his attention from knocking on doors to knocking heads. However, Speredon tore his Achilles tendon during summer workouts. Since then Speredon has been making steady progress as he rehabs his injury.

TotalBlueSports.com caught up with the big offensive lineman to learn how he was doing. Click on the link below to hear Speredon talk about his injury and rehabilitation status.
