BYU received a big commitment from James Lark of Pine View High School in St. George, Utah shortly after BYU's summer football camp concluded. Lark may only be the first of multiple Pine View prospects to head north to Provo, however. Carter Mees may be another Panther on the Cougar short list.

Carter Mees is the son of former BYU punter Mike Mees and is being looked at closely by BYU as a safety after a very good performance at BYU's camp. "I loved being there for a week," said Mees. "I've been to Provo before, but I've never been able to see BYU so much and I really loved it.
