Crowton Plans New Offensive Plan with QB Beck

Stanford might have to rethink its defensive game plan for Saturday's showdown in Provo with quarterback <b>Matt Berry</b> sidelined as BYU's field general with a broken hand. In his place will be elusive back-up <b>John Beck</b> and BYU head coach <b>Gary Crowton</b> plans a different offensive strategy to capitalize on Beck's unique skills and strengths.

"John is a very mobile quarterback, so he'll be able to buy himself some more time because of that mobility – which is important for an inexperienced quarterback. The style of the offense will be different since we're playing a different style of defense, so we'll adjust accordingly."
