Chambers commits to BYU

Coach Mendenhall offered Arizona offensive tackle Chandon Herring on Friday following Junior Day, and it wasn't long before he committed. On Saturday morning the Cougar program received another commitment, this one from 6-foot-5-inch, 285-pound Kansas offensive lineman Austin Chambers.

While Austin Chambers committed to BYU on Saturday, he knew earlier in the week that he would choose to be a Cougar. "I've actually been talking to BYU earlier this week and have kind of been holding off because I wanted to make sure that I could talk to [Kansas] first so they could know before I said anything," said Chambers.
